Job Description:

The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to prospect new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients in the Post Frame market. They must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company. They must develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. They are also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients. Business Development Managers work with mid and senior level management, marketing, and technical staff. He/she may manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company. Strategic planning is a key part of this job description along with Project Management, since it is the business manager’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the Post Frame fastener market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company’s competitors.

LCF Business Development Manager Role:

Business Development Manager will improve market position and achieve financial growth. Define long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals maintaining extensive knowledge of current fastener market conditions. Business Development Manager will work directly with the National Sales Manager alongside the President of LCF. This position will require the need to work with internal inside sales teams, outside salesforce team, marketing staff, operations, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue within the LCF organization. Business Development Manager will also help manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive. The Business Development Manager will call on clients, often being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict their clients’ future needs. The Business Development Manager will work with National Sales Manager to coordinate and execute all scheduled industry trade shows, expo’s, and buying markets.

Experience:

3-5 years of sales or marketing experience in Post Frame metal roofing and metal building market. Knowledge of fasteners, metal building components, overall building envelope, or fastener distribution required.

Lakeside Construction Fasteners is seeking an entry-level Painter to join our team. This position provides hands-on training in all aspects of painting fasteners, with the opportunity to advance to Painter II within 3-6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely handle and mix paint and thinners following established procedures.
• Wear a respirator and work in a controlled paint room environment.
• Apply paint efficiently to products per specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Perform other production activities within the department as required.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in an industrial paint booth preferred but not required.
• Good manual dexterity required.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills may be required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
