The design of the Ridge-X Vent™ non woven polyester fiber structure inhibits water, dirt, and snow from penetrating the building structure. Ridge-X Vent™ promotes positive air ventilation throughout the building envelope which starts at the ridge cap! The special formulated UV Coating allows the Ridge-X Vent™ to resist high temperature environments, and prevents the fiber structure from collapsing!

Shingle & Downspout Division

Application:

Asphalt shingles applied to a roof deck, and water shed utilizing downspout systems. #10 WOODX 2.5”, 3” or 4” lengths (no washer) used with gutter brackets securing the gutter to the building. Gutter seams stitched with LCF painted 43 Pop stainless rivets as the #8 Z-STITCH with strapping secures the downspout. SHINGLE RIDGE-X VENT is an ideal alternative solution venting the shingle ridge cap. EMSEAL self expanding foam can fill voids between the facia and sidewall. NOVAFLEX premium silicone sealant bonds to a multitude of substrates creating a harden bond without breakage. NOVAFLEX is moisture activated for sealing all application leaks (roof/downspout).

Modular Division

Application:

26/29-gauge metal panel or asphalt shingles applied to roof the system. Fasteners used to attach the metal panel to the wood frame structure. Structures are moveable that can be hauled then placed on site. #10 PRO CONCEAL TORX-25 without a washer for inside liner panels. LCF stocks a multitude of 300 Stainless Steel Pop 43 Rivets for modular stitching applications. #8 Z-STITCH ideal to secure gutter straps to the sidewall. #10 WOODX with high-low threads for quick installation reduces labor costs. #14 MASTERGRIP recommended on older buildings to replace nails/screws that have backed out.

Some framing structures could be wood frame. #12 STEELX, #12 PROTEK, and #14 MASTERGRIP (repair fastener) engineered to meet the specifications for metal decks and metal-to-metal applications. LCF offers a full line of CLOSESEAL-PLUS die cut closures, RIDGE-X VENT (ridge/hip venting), and silicone sealants colored matched to the metal panel. #12 PROTEK self-driller with concealed washer engineered for extreme weather. Application:

26 / 29-gauge metal panel applied to sidewalls and roofs onto to a wood frame structure. LCF fasteners are used to attach the metal panel to the wood frame structure. Most popular fastener in the industry is our #10 WOOD-X followed by the #14 MASTERGRIP. Long-Life #10 ZMAX (5/16 HWH) or #10 SC STEEL GUARD (1/4 HWH) an alternative solution against red rust that will last for the life of the metal panel. #10 304 Stainless WOOD-X used with liner panels for poultry or animal confinement structures needed in highly corrosive environments.
